Hi All,

Thank you to all of you who came out for our Thanksgiving feast. I know it meant a lot to your children. I am very thankful to be able to work with your families this year. Thank you for always supporting your child and me, so we can work together for the success of your child! You all are the best! I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving!

Today, progress reports are coming home for the first 4 1/2 weeks of quarter 2! Many of the students have made great progress this quarter! Please note the goals and expectations for the end of the quarter in the comments section. Also, we are going to be revisiting the Distributive Property the week following Thanksgiving break (see the note under math).

Student Council will be collecting for a Cobb County school that has 300 students and 90% free and reduced lunch. The NEW clothes that are collected will be given as part of their holiday celebration on Saturday, December 15th. How cool!! Attached is the flyer that came home in the kiddos’ Tuesday Folders regarding the clothing drive: Student Council Collection Drive.

Lastly, the kiddos enjoyed researching, planning, and creating a presentation with visuals on the Southwest Native Americans. Today, we shared our findings and creations with the other classes while they shared their knowledge on the other regions Native Americans occupied. Enjoy some pictures of the creations and presentations on See What We’re Up To.
