Hi All,
This week was jam packed with fun beginning our wax museum projects and celebrating Veterans Day together! Also, a couple of days of indoor recess were thrown in there, but we managed! Feel free to check out pictures from the week on See What We’re Up To.
However, next week is packed with even more fun! We will celebrate Thanksgiving with the 1st and 3rd grade Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, November 14th. Our time is 11:30-12:15. Below are a few reminders:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and purchase your lunch ticket prior to entering the café.
Guest lunches for parents, grandparents, relatives, and non-Rocky Mount siblings cost $3.75 each (cash or check only….no credit cards accepted). *Guest lunches will not be charged to a student account so the line moves quickly. All guests will need to purchase a turkey lunch ticket with cash or check prior to arriving in the café.
Our delicious luncheon includes turkey, gravy, and stuffing with your choice of up to our (4) of the following side items: green beans, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, or a Harvest Cookie.
Family pictures will be available for purchase starting at $10 (cash, check or credit card) by professional photographer Jacey Verhoef Photography.
Rocky Mount’s Spirit Store items will be available for purchase during the Feast.
Lastly, progress reports will be coming home on Friday, November 16th for the first 4 1/2 weeks of quarter 2! Many of the students have made great progress this quarter!

November 16 – Native American Day in Third Grade **We will be sharing with the other classes what we have learned about the Southwest Native Americans. The other classes will share their knowledge about other regions Native Americans occupied. Pictures to come!
